Holy Week Services: The Great Vigil of Easter (19 April 2014)

Parishioners of all the Anglican parishes in the Deanery are invited to join together to celebrate the Great Vigil of Easter at 20:00 hr (8:00 p.m.) on 19 April 2014 at the Church of the Epiphany, Sudbury.   The silence of Holy Saturday deepens as at the Great Three Days ends. We will hear the story of God’s promises proclaimed, we will renew our baptismal vows, and we will celebrate our first Easter communion.  Keep vigil at the tomb with the women and be the first to hear  and announce the good news: “He is not here. He is Risen!”  This service also marks the lighting of the new flame which lights our Easter journey.  Everyone is welcome to attend.
