A two-day gathering of learning, reflection, and connection at the Church of the Epiphany
The Church of the Epiphany in Sudbury is pleased to host A Weekend with Alongside Hope, an opportunity for Anglicans and community partners to come together in learning, reflection, and shared purpose.
This special weekend will explore how we can walk alongside one another in responding to some of the most pressing challenges facing our communities—locally, nationally, and globally.
On Saturday, April 18 at 1:30 p.m., participants are invited to attend “Mapping the Ground We Stand On.” This session will engage the findings of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, with a focus on deepening understanding and strengthening relationships with Indigenous communities.
The weekend continues on Sunday, April 19 at 12 noon with “Everything You Want to Know About Alongside Hope,” a Lunch & Learn session featuring guest speaker Suzanne Rumsey, Public Engagement Program Coordinator. This session will offer insight into the work of Alongside Hope and how individuals and parishes can become more involved.
Both events will take place at the Church of the Epiphany, Phoenix Hall (85 Larch St., Sudbury). Participants are welcome to attend one or both sessions.
