Supporting the Sewing Project of the Diocese of Tarime

Linda Goodale, Chair of Social Action on the Anglican Church Women’s Deanery Executive, invites all women of the Deanery to prayerfully consider how to support the Sewing Project of the Diocese of Tarime.  Bishop Mwita has spoken passionately about this project and how important it is to empower the young girls in the Diocese .

Before the Annual Meeting in Sudbury on May 30, 31 and June 1, please consider how you might raise funds for this project. Arrangements for donations should be made to be given to our Deanery President, Beverly van der Jagt prior to the annual so that it can be given with other Thank Offerings from our Deanery at the opening Eucharist. Any cheques should be made out to Diocese of Algoma ACW –in the memo line: Sewing Project Diocese of Tarime.
