Faith Seeking Understanding
Thorneloe University’s School of Theology is pleased to offer four distance courses and three live courses this summer. Our distance courses are TCST 1030 – Introduction to the Old Testament (John Harvey), TCST 1200 – Introduction to Christian Theology (Patrick McManus), TCST 2410 – Christianity in Canada (Gary Graber), and TCST 3400 – Anglicanism (Patrick McManus). Distance courses begin on May 6, with exams scheduled for July 26 to August 3. Admission to Thorneloe is required, along with course registration.
Our live courses will take place in Sudbury, Thunder Bay and Timmins.
  • June 17-21, Thorneloe University, Sudbury: Discipleship and the Cross – Journeying through the Gospel of Mark (Bob Derrenbacker)
    • Free accommodations in the Thorneloe Residence will be available to students coming from outside of Sudbury
  • July 8-12, St. Luke’s Thunder Bay: Jesus Meets Buddha – Christian Explorations of Eastern Religious Thinking (John Harvey)
  • July 15-19, St. Matthew’s Cathedral, Timmins: Creation to Covenant – The Books of Moses (John Harvey)
Course registration is required one month before the course begins.
