The Y.T.B.N. (Yet To Be Named) Youth Group is a wonderful collection of youth between the ages of 8 and 16.  The next meeting is Nov. 26/27–“12 hours, 12 projects”–Breaking of the of Silence and overnight with Capreol Youth Group, 7pm Saturday to 7am Sunday and then sale of our projects at St. James and Epiphany on Sunday morning, raising money for an outreach group.

On Saturday Nov. 26th, (arrival time is 5:45pm) YTBN is heading to Capreol to join the youth group at the United Church there. We’ll be part of the historic “100-foot tree-lighting ceremony” and carolling event that happens with the whole town of Capreol, then returning to the church for a fabulous night of games, art experiences, campfire, snacks and sleep!  (Well….there might be sleep!)

On Sunday Nov. 27th, we’ll pack up our PJs and sleeping bags, enjoy a breakfast with everyone and then head into Sudbury for church.  After church on Nov. 27th, the YTBN youth will be selling the art/Christmas decorations we’ve made with the youth group in Capreol—incredible things–and all for a loonie or a toonie.  The money raised from the sale of our crafts is going to be given to Jacquie Villeneuve, a local high school student who has just purchased land to build an orphanage in Kenya.  Bring along your spare change on Nov. 27th and help us out with this wonderful project!
